What it is

Routine podiatry for everyday foot problems, including corns, callus, dry or cracked skin, thick or painful toenails, and skin conditions such as athlete's foot. Your first visit is a full assessment of your feet, medical history and medication. We are legally required to record some basic details (your minimum data set), and we keep them confidential.

We no longer offer a separate nail-cutting-only or minor treatment appointment. These are now booked as a routine treatment.

What to expect

Your first appointment lasts about 40 minutes. We'll talk through your concerns, check your feet, and in most cases treat you the same day. Corns and hard skin are gently removed, nails are cut and reduced, and you'll get advice on footwear and looking after your skin. If we need more time or further tests, we'll book you back in. Follow-up routine appointments are shorter and arranged at a frequency that suits your feet.
