First aid courses

Learn life-saving skills with a current PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor. Andy has taught EFR courses since 2017, and we run them in our Redcar and Guisborough clinics or at your own venue.

Courses we offer

Primary & Secondary Care: our main course, covering CPR, AED use, serious bleeding, shock, spinal injury and first aid for illness and injury. About 4 hours of hands-on practical.

Care for Children: CPR and first aid for babies and children, ideal for parents, grandparents and anyone working with children.

Refresher: a 2 to 4 hour update for people who have done EFR before. A refresher is recommended every 2 years.

Emergency Oxygen Provider: how to recognise when emergency oxygen is needed and how to give it safely.

How it works

You start with PADI eLearning at your own pace, then complete a hands-on practical session with Andy in small groups. When you finish, you receive a PADI EFR completion eCard. EFR also meets the PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster first aid prerequisites.

Where

In our Redcar (24a Cleveland Street) or Guisborough clinic, or at your location, ideal for clubs, sports teams, families and dive groups.
